Get involved in one of the most culturally significant stories happening in 2019!

This new interactive website will be fully active in 2019 where you will be able to experience the story of the Peterloo Massacre and discover a programme of new work and special events that explore and commemorate this milestone in British history.  Manchester Histories leads a partnership of cultural organisations and communities in developing the programme which will run from June – August 2019.

If you have your own event or want to put an event on, please complete the event form below by 14 January 2019.

Manchester Histories will have spaces suitable for all different types and size of events at Manchester Central Library each Tuesday & Thursday (day & evening) and Saturday (9-5pm) from 7 June to 31 August 2019. There will also be opportunities to hold activities in other venues (Science and Industry Museum/People’s History Museum/Manchester Art Gallery) if extra spaces are needed.

If you want to chat to us more about your event please:

Join us next Saturday 8th December at Manchester Central Library for a 1:1 chat or at the next Peterloo Network meeting on 14 Feb 2019 at People’s History Museum – where you can also meet other participants and talk to Manchester Histories team about your events or other activities.
