Victims maps

Manchester Histories has worked in partnership with Dr Katrina Navickas (University of Hertfordshire) and Prof Robert Poole (University of Central Lancashire), author of Peterloo: the English Uprising to produce original research which maps the victims, casualties,  witnesses, authorities and those detained following the Peterloo Massacre.

Using data compiled from Peter Castree at the Peterloo Memorial Campaign the names and addresses have been applied onto an 1824 map of Greater Manchester, highlighting where those who were involved came from.
