In this session, students will learn about the tactics and aims of the Occupy Movement, and will study the youth-led protests in Hong Kong (2014) for democracy. They looking at what caused the movement, who was involved, and the tactics they used. The class will then examine the different ways that protestors have occupied space in different historic and contemporary situations.
