Made up a bed for Hunt at Moorhouse’s. Went to the meeting on 16^th August 1819. ‘’Moorhouse took his wife there. She was then in the family way.’

Mary Cadman examined by Mr. Littledale —I was a servant with Mr. Moorhouse last August. On the 8th of August, there was a bed made up for him there.

Here Mr. Hunt rose, and admitted that he slept there; it was not there­fore necessary to examine her further on that point.

Cross-examined by Mr. Barrow—She had been a servant at Moorhouse’s. He was a good religious man, and used to read the Bible very often for his family. Witness went to the meeting on the 16th of August. There were a number of women and children there. She was not a servant to Mr. Moorhouse then. Moorhouse took his wife there. She was then in the family way. She saw no children there belonging to Moorhouse. He has eleven children; six by his present wife.
