Lives at Manchester, and is 54 years of age; lives in Lad-lane, Hollywell-Buildings; was at the meeting on the 16th of August; was there between nine and ten in the forenoon; remained there until Mr. Hunt was taken from the hustings. The place where she stood was a rising ground, between the Windmill public house and the hustings, Saw all the processions come upon the ground. They came with flags and music. She felt no alarm for herself in the town from their coming. Could see the cavalry. The special constables opened the way for them. Heard the soldiers cheered, but did not hear them hissed or hooted at.
