Download accountJeremiah Fielding, examined by Mr. Littledale. Was a merchant of Manchester. He was between Manchester and Cheetham Hill, on the road to Bury, on the morning of the 16th; saw about 2000 persons marching in regular order four or five abreast; with music and flags, towards Manchester.
Cross-examined by Mr. Hunt—Witness did not see them insult or use any one ill; no women and children were with them when he saw them.
