Young People in Humanitarianism Conference

Thu 27 Jun, 9am – 3pm

This event is aimed at home-schooled children ages 12 – 15 and their families.

Booking is recommended. Please email jessica.hawkins@manchester.ac.uk to register your interest.

Staff and students at the Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute (HCRI) at the University of Manchester will be inviting young learners in Years 8 and 9 for an inspiring educational event to learn more about current affairs from people who specialise in issues related to humanitarianism, conflict and peace-building, disasters and global health. It will be a workshop-based event facilitated by academic staff and students.

We hope that the outcomes will include an enrichment of the curriculum and the creation of additional resources that might be used in the classroom.

Enormous thanks to our partners and funders
