Radical Riots Comic Strip Workshop

Come along and have a go at creating your own graphic novel style story panels. Re-create a scene from one of the riots and protests that took place in Stockport in the lead up to the Peterloo Massacre in 1819. You can use real quotes from both the Radical campaigners, and the Loyalist government forces. You will use your own imagination to illustrate how these historic events might have looked. Information about the key characters in the events, and what people and places would have looked like, will be available to help you plan your comic strip.

All materials will be provided. Please be aware we will be using felt tip pens.
